Jesus was sent to this earth in the form a man, but essentially he was God also. How God could do that i don’t know. He revealed Himself to 3 of His close followers , Matthew 17:2
Six days later Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John the brother of James, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. 2 And His appearance changed dramatically in their presence; and His face shone [with heavenly glory, clear and bright] like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Jesus.
This is called the mount of transfiguration were Jesus revealed His inner glory
Elijah represented the prophets and Moses the law, essentially affirming who He was the Messiah, the Annointed one, only God could save us from our fallen nature and our decline into death. Of you miss the Son Of Almighty God you have missed the very essence of why you are on this earth. This earth with its inhabitants is so fallen from what God intended it cannot be changed, but thanks to God we can be saved with the renewal of our spirit man through Jesus and what He did, there is no other way, no other doctrine , religion. If you are a Muslim, Buddist, Hindu there is no hope for you unless you run to the Messiah.
Jesus is called the Annointed one because He was sent by Father God for the purpose of His beloved people of the Jews. God always hoped that His people would follow His ways and get the rest of the world to follow their example and make everyone else jealous of their relationship with Him. God’s ultimate aim is to get everyone saved, but He Has limited Himself to man submitting himself to Him and following the Holy Spirit’s leading.
