That God chose the Jews is true and They are still in His redemptive plan for the whole earth. God said He would bless the whole world through the Jews and He did by sending Jesus in the middle of time through a miraculous birth through Mary. Of course Mary was from the right line of the Jews which stretched all the way up to King David and Abraham, Issaac and Jacob.
The notion of Jews being chosen has its root in several biblical verses. One of the most prominent, Deuteronomy 7:6, says, “For you are a people consecrated to Adonai your God: of all the peoples on earth Adonai your God chose you to be God’s treasured people.” The next two verses provide the reason for this choice. God did not choose the Israelites because of their numbers; rather, God chose the Israelites and freed them from slavery because God loved them and because God had made promises to their ancestors, the biblical patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
As a gentile believer we have been grafted into the olive tree, whereas the Jewish nation it is a natural connection. We as gentiles owe not only everything to Jesus but in the natural realm, we are in debt to the Jewish people for keeping the scriptures and promises of God alive over the centuries with no corruption of the Bible as we know it. They have been persecuted (unwarranted) over the centuries by just about every European nation from the Spanish to the English to the Russian and German. But in truth they have brought us God’s blessing and you can today see this in the nation of Israel, where no country big or small will be unsuccessful at trying to destroy it and their country is prospering but however the devil always tries to find a people who oppose them and unfortunately it is there close neighbours.
What the Jews suffered during the Holocaust was beyond words. This ignorance, this happened was because they killed Jesus is plain ignorance. The evil men behind this were no more than satanists doing the devils bidding. The German people got off lightly with most of their cities destroyed, but people will be held accountable in the next world. Christians who stood by and did nothing are also accountable, unfortunately at these times you have to give up your live for the greater cause. These times will reoccur in the tribulation or Jacobs trouble.
Unfortunately the Jews missed the coming of their Messiah Jesus, and when Jesus was looking over Jerusalem He cried over it, wanting to help them and gather them to Himself. When Jesus died on the cross it ended the Mosaic Law for good, and a new covenant was formed in Jesus’s death and resurrection. They are still God’s special people He hasn’t forgotten them and will come back for them as a nation at the conclusion of the Tribulation. The Jews as a people have had a rough time over the years especially during the Holocaust, but in Isaiah it says that God cannot forget them because they are engraved in his palm and are His people into eternity. They still need to come to Jesus however because there is no salvation in the mosaic law.
At the end of the Tribulation the Jewish nation will finally admit that Jesus is the Messiah after He delivers them from the anti-christ.. this is found in Zechariah :
And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplications; and they shall look on me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for an only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
The Jewish people will play an important part of God’s kingdom those who don’t realise this are in ignorance. During the Millenium Jesus will rule from Jerusalem and the House of David will play a great part on this. The Jewish nation might be in ignorance now but this will change with Jacob’s trouble ( the tribulation), 2/3 worlds popultion will die, and this will bring in Jesus’s reign on earth.
