There are many occult practices today which open doors to darkness, some of them included in the new age movement and accepted principles in today’s society. There has been a slow erosion of today’s world beliefs and more acceptance of practices which are forbidden in the Bible. Things not seen years ago are now seen such as movies called the Craft, which is witchcraft explained in a movie. The danger is if you watch these movies you could come under a demonic influence because you have accepted this movie and the influence it generates. The darkness is no friend to us and there is no goodness in them. God has said i will have no other gods before Me, or in other words i will not share my Glory with any other person or thing. to do so is spiritual adultery and leads to spiritual darkness. Bringing any of these things in your home attracts demonic forces into your home and more importantly influences your life in the end for bad.

1. Yoga
2. Martial Arts
3. Harry Potter.. witches have endorsed these series of books as true witchcraft.
4. Occult Movies/Tv series
5. Music rock, heavy metal, rap etc.
6. Seances, Tarot cards, Clairvoyance’s, necromancers
7. Drugs illegal such as marijuana, Ice
8. Occult symbols such as spirit catchers, crystals, buddha statues, occult jewelry etc.
9. Cults Jehovah’s witnesses, Mormons, Freemasonry.
There is false teaching such as:
replacement theology-the church has replaced Israel for good. The nation of Israel has been set aside but not for ever.
once saved always saved- you are saved as long as you walk with the Lord. ( saved = a new creation saved from the final judgement)
false teaching such as these books – purpose driven life, Origin of species.
Calvinist teaching – only certain elect people are saved.
False tenets within organisations such as Roman Catholic (salvation in child baptism), Seventh Day Adventists (Saved but legalistic keeping the sabbath, no hell),
The devil and his demons are no match for God, but God may use them to see what we really believe, do we really want this world of darkness and everything in it. Are we prepared to sacrifice the eternal life with God for short term enjoyment on this earth. You cannot have your foot in both worlds you will love one and hate the other, just like there is no darkness in the light.
